Manager of Quality Systems / Administration ​

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Define procedures and methods to improve and maintain quality.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve an efficient and compliant Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Review the IMS, including all MTU Maintenance areas and processes, for effectiveness and compliance.
  • Provide regular status reports on the IMS.
  • Monitor company activities to ensure airworthiness compliance.
  • Provide and manage technical documentation.
  • Train and guide employees involved in inspection and audit activities.
  • Monitor the IMS through independent audits and initiate corrective actions as required.

Required Skills/Abilities:  

  • Implement, maintain, and ensure effectiveness of the IMS for quality, safety, and environmental goals.
  • Collaborate with aviation authorities and report relevant occurrences and changes.
  • Ensure compliance with procedures required by authorities, OEMs, and customers.
  • Report company changes to aviation authorities.
  • Monitor IMS performance via audits, KPIs, and reports, and initiate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage technical documentation required for engine maintenance.
  • Delegate quality management tasks clearly within the organization.
  • Lead, train, and develop assigned employees.
  • Personnel management (hiring, evaluation, development, working time, etc.).
  • Ensure proper qualification and continuous training of staff.
  • Organize department structure and competencies.
  • Plan and manage tasks to meet internal/external requirements and quality standards.
  • Ensure communication and reporting requirements are met.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Manage the departmental budget.
