Your Tasks:
 
  • Act as EPI Quality Assurance Representative within the supply chain of the EPI Product Delivery Team and be the first level of escalation for the suppliers, Parent Companies (PCs) and EAL.
  • Support and follow up customer quality issues in coordination with the Quality Assurance Representative at FAL
  • Follow-up and support investigations related to quality related topics, NCRs and QERs and track the status of remidial and containment actions
  • Follow-up the root cause analysis and corrective actions committed by suppliers, EAL and FAL in order to ensure engine, module and spare delivery
  • Align with supplier, EAL and FAL on process and documentation improvement and ensure that the committed measures are successfully implemented
  • Run the concession process with all stakeholders
  • Offer reactive support to crisis situation and coordinate actions with crisis team
  • Compile and review the Quality Metrics and KPIs of the EPI Quality processes and suppliers, Parent Companies (PCs), EAL and/ or FAL performances
  • Identify risks, propose and coordinate mitigation actions
  • Support Quality, POA (Production Organization Approval) and/ or MOA (Maintenance Organization Approval) audits to ensure process adherence at all levels and address specific critical areas
  • Ensure compliance to the EPI QMS within the given work scope and work proactively on improvements for the EPI QMS
  • Participate regularly in Quality and/or Production Meeting presenting quality issues and provide the requeseted quality related KPIs and Supplier Scorecards
  • Report functional to the Supply Chain Manager and if requested to the Head of Product Delivery.
 

Requirements:

  • Quality Engineer (all genders) with aerospace background and good knowledge in engine production
  • 3+ years of experience in supplier management, monitoring and surveillance
  • Good experience in various quality methods for investigations (8D, 5-Why, etc.)
  • Good knowledge in Aerospace regulations and standards EASA Part21/ EN9100 are important
  • Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills. • Very flexible regarding working and service times as we have to cope with unscheduled events and a tight delivery plan
  • Flexible in terms of travelling and working on different EPI locations.
  • Team player, able to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Good German level written and spoken is important. • Very good English level written and spoken is mandatory
