Summer Engineering Intern ​

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Intern to join our team for the summer. This internship is designed for a college student pursuing a degree in Engineering who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment. The intern will support engineering projects, assist with technical analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while developing practical skills and industry knowledge.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist engineers with design, testing, and implementation of engineering projects
  • Collect, analyze, and document technical data
  • Support preparation of engineering drawings, reports, and presentations
  • Participate in problem-solving and process improvement initiatives
  • Perform research on materials, processes, and technologies as needed
  • Observe and follow safety, quality, and compliance standards
  • Attend project meetings and provide progress updates
  • Assist with troubleshooting and basic engineering calculations

Required Skills/Abilities:  

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Aerospace, or related field)
  • Completed at least one year of college coursework
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and terminology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with technical drawings is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred Skills (Not Required): 

  • Basic programming or data analysis skills (Python, MATLAB, etc.)
  • Previous internship, lab, or project experience
