We’re part of the MTU Aero Engines Group, which employs over 13,000 employees worldwide. This gives us the stability and strength of a global industry leader with German roots, while our Amsterdam-based business (circa 100 employees) operates with the mindset and energy of a start-up to scale-up.

Quick decisions, low hierarchy, no politics — just great people working together to make things happen.

We believe there are no limits when it comes to achieving our goals. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to grow — in your role and beyond it. We encourage curiosity, fresh ideas, and personal development, because when our people grow, our business grows too.

Our team represents over 27 nationalities, with leaders from all around the world. We’re proud of our diversity, but even prouder of how aligned we are — one team with one vision: to lead with humility, willpower, and a shared passion for excellence.

YOUR TASKS

About the Role

Join our People & Organisation team in Amsterdam and play a relevant role in supporting both local and global HR initiatives. You’ll become part of a small, busy, and hands-on HR team of three HR professionals, who deliver core HR services such as payroll, recruitment, onboarding, and precise HR administration — while simultaneously building and improving HR products and initiatives to take HR to the next level.

This is a 6-month internship, ideally starting 1st Feb or 1st Mar 2026, for 5 days per week, with a monthly compensation of €1,000.

What You’ll Be Involved In

Under the guidance, direction, and coaching of the HR Manager, and in close collaboration with the other members of the People & Organisation team, you will be researching, designing, and generating new tools and improvements for our HR products. By joining our team, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the following initiatives (and more):

HRIS (Human Resources Information System)
Work closely with the team to test features of a soon-to-be-launched HRIS. You will assess functionalities, document and analyze findings, and report results to support a successful implementation.

Workplace & Facilities
Support the team in overseeing the basic facilities management of our Amsterdam office, helping ensure daily operations run smoothly, efficiently, and contribute to a positive employee experience.

Yearly Performance Review Process
With guidance from the HR Manager, support the development and enhancement of our existing annual performance review process. The goal is to make it more engaging and value-adding for both employees and the business. You will assist with data collection, assessment of outcomes, and preparation of insights and recommendations for follow-up action plans.

HR Tools & Development Initiatives
Co-create easy-to-use tools for development, training, feedback, and engagement. You will help research needs, suggest concepts, and design and create simple, practical tools that strengthen and expand our HR product offering.
