Senior Manager Process Engineering Assembly and Disassembly (all genders)
Code - MONP

The Process Engineering department is responsible for ensuring and further developing disassembly and assembly processes in terms of quality, costs and delivery reliability, as well as driving continuous improvement. In the scope of cross-location networking, the Process Engineering department is the technical service provider for production processes and process know-how. 

YOUR TASKS

  • Technical and disciplinary management of the assigned employees in the Process Engineering for our engine programs in the disassembly and assembly area
  • Technical qualification of the disassembly/assembly areas to ensure process sequences and material flow
  • Further development of production standards and establishment of new technologies within the production processes
  • Ensuring the support of the various engine types in the maintenance program in compliance with aviation regulations
  • Execution of the necessary investment planning of the affected area and ensuring the timely implementation of the investments made
  • Creating and maintaining all necessary work documents for the disassembly and assembly process 
  • Responsible for the design and coordination of the production of special drive equipment
  • Initiating and coordinating projects to improve process stability, throughput time, quality and costs in collaboration with other departments and pursuing legal objectives while taking company relevant aspects into account
  • Cross-location exchange and close cooperation to ensure overall optimized production processes in the MTU network
     

YOUR PROFILE

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or industrial engineering
  • Proven experience in the management of employees
  • Several years of professional experience in the aviation sector, as well as sound knowledge of engine technology desirable
  • Knowledge of SAP and MS Office
  • Assertiveness and communication skills, analytical thinking and ability to work under pressure
  • Very good English skills
