YOUR TASKS

  • Develop concepts, draft and detailed designs for manufacturing aids, tools and manufacturing systems for assembly and disassembly processes of aircraft engines
  • Coordinate design tasks in close collaboration with internal and external service providers
  • Create standard-compliant and workshop-ready designs (manufacturing aids, tools, and transport aids) based on national and international laws, guidelines, norms, and standards
  • Develop solutions and alternative solutions for specific technical problems in the field of engine assembly
  • Specification of tools and machinery and technical support throughout the purchasing process
  • Participation in internal and external audits and process analyses based on MTU quality methods
  • Provide expert advice to internal and external customers

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed studies in mechanical/aerospace engineering or design & manufacturing
  • Professional experience in technical documentation and the design of fixtures and tools, preferably in the aviation industry
  • Professional experience with CAD systems, specifically Siemens NX
  • Cross-cultural competence and experience in collaboration with international partners
  • Excellent analytical thinking and methodological skills to solve complex technical issues
  • Strong organizational and communication skills and focus on teamwork
  • Experience in dealing with various IT systems (SAP, Siemens Teamcenter, Siemens NX)
  • Fluent English and at least basic proficiency in German
