Contract and Compliance Manager (all genders)

YOUR TASKS
- Support and manage aircraft engine leasing and trading transactions, from contract drafting to negotiation and closing
- Draft, negotiate, and execute miscellaneous agreements (e.g., NDAs, maintenance agreements, warranty letters, financing documents)
- Serve as the point of contact for legal, contract management and compliance matters
- Support efforts to build capacity and ensure contract-related tools and templates meet regulatory requirements
- Analyze and assess disputes and/or litigation cases to support management decisions, including retaining, instructing, and managing external counsels in relevant jurisdictions (including cost control)
- Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and industry best practices, and ensure that the organization is aware of and complies with any new requirements
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of existing compliance controls and make recommendations for improvement
- Act as the point of contact for internal stakeholders (business departments or affiliate companies) regarding any legal queries
- Support management with comprehensive information, reporting as required
- Lead ad-hoc projects as assigned by management
- General administration and corporate tasks
- Ensure company compliance with applicable laws and export control regulations, updating internal procedures
- Participate in and lead dedicated projects for the management of CMS and other compliance software
YOUR PROFILE
- Master’s Degree in legal studies
- Previous experience with business transactions and compliance implications, preferably in the aviation/transport industry
- Strong drafting, analytical, negotiation and problem solving skills
- Eloquent communication skills; diplomacy in customer dealings and internal stakeholders discussions
- Ability to work well in a team environment and to multi-task under tight deadlines
- Business acumen and customer-focused approach
- High level of commitment and flexibility
- Self-starter and independent working attitude on complex projects in a fast paced environment
- Able to manage priorities and workflows within the legal team
- Excellent English proficiency and preferably additional language skills
- Good IT skills: in particular MS Office, customer relationship and contract management tools
