Accessory Engineering Tooling Coordinator ​

Salary:  $25.00 to $35.00 per hour

The Accessory Engineering Tooling Coordinator reviews technical manuals, assesses and updates tooling documentation, coordinates with teams to improve production processes, interprets blueprints, investigates tooling failures, and applies engineering principles to tooling implementation.

Your Tasks:

  • review aeronautical technical manuals for tooling applicability
  • assess current status of shop tooling and the associated documentation
  • update tooling documentation as required
  • track the status and ensure publication of the documentation
  • co-ordinate with the engineering and workplanning teams to update and improve production written processes and documentation
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports.
  • Research, evaluate, install, operate, or maintain documentation for tooling, tooling systems or processes to meet operational requirements.
  • Ensure conformance with engineering design, performance specifications, or regulations.
  • Confer with engineers or other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, or provide technical information.
  • Investigate and identify tooling failures or misuse and recommend remedial actions.
  • Research and analyze tooling specifications, manuals, or other data to record their use and maintenance requirements.
  • Conduct research that analyzes the feasibility, design, operation, or performance of tooling.
  • Apply engineering principles or practices to tooling and their implementation.

Our Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering
  • Advanced knowledge of common engineering based software (e.g. computer-aided design (CAD), computer numeric controlled programming (CNC), etc…)
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP engineering specific functions
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office
