Technical & In-service support engineer (all genders) – EUROJET Turbo GmbH [EJ]

Effective support of technical and in service engineering activities associated with EUROJET EJ200 engine. Summary of key accountabilities:

  • Support to SG-A4 (In-Service Engineering) with a special focus on engine hardware sampling strategy and execution;
  • Provide engineering guidance to the Materials Requirements Project (MRP) with a focus on improving the accuracy of the forecasting signal;
  • Provide engineering support to the MRO Working Group (WG) once established; 
  • Technical lead in EJ for the Austrian customer

You will start in a international Team of EUROJET in Hallbergmoos near to the Munich Airport


  • Identify, monitor and disseminate key conclusions and trends identified during whole engine & module/LRI sampling with a particular focus on ensuring the continued safe operation of the engine through life.
  • Participate in the MRP project team and coordinate Partner Company (PC) inputs as necessary so that forecasting can be improved for future contracts.  This will require an understanding of both design intent and service operation of the engine which in turn will require improvements to be made in how EHM data is used.
  • Provide technical input for the Austrian contract, coordinating activities with the Commercial, Programme Management and Service Operations team members.
  • Interface to WGB (Service Operations) as required to assure the technical content of airworthiness data (Repairs, Technical Publications etc) as EJ moves towards an EMAR21 Coordinating Design Organisation.
  • Support the EJ Technical Director with both team and EJ as a whole, improvement projects.


  • Degree in Engineering or suitable similar experience
  • Good Communication skills are essential with high fluency in English (and German for Austrian support) language, both written and verbal
  • Advanced programme management and customer management skills
  • Experience in Production/MRO or technical programm management 
  • Engineering or technical projects experience necessary
