Project Manager - Next Generation Fighter Engine (all genders)

For the next generation fighter engine (NEFE), MTU has created an own organisation to manage the programm in its early phase. As this project will also need an excellent IT project management, we are looking for the right person to bring the common work environment up to speed.

YOUR TASKS

  • Definition, implementation and monitoring of the IT Roadmap of the Next European Fighter Engine (NEFE) Program 
  • Definition of the necessary IT tools structure for NEFE
  • Independent program planning and program monitoring for internal partners as well as external customers
  • Acquisition of digitization and IT services for NEFE
  • Coordination of digitization and IT services with external stakeholders
  • Creation and coordination of technical concepts for digitization and IT projects

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Completed studies with a technical background preferably in information technology or comparable training
  • Relevant experience in the field of information technology
  • High analytical competence
  • Assertiveness and negotiation skills
  • Fluent negotiation skills in English and very good command in German - French and/or Spanish skills are a plus
  • Intrinsic drive, high sense of responsibility, ability to work under pressure and assertiveness

This job can be done in a hybrid way, i.e. partly working in the office on site but as well mobile, e.g. from home (in Germany).
