TASKS

The main task of our customer account management is to understand the dynamic interests of the customer and the company and to reconcile them within the framework of the contractual conditions. Once a customer has signed a contract with MTU Maintenance for the maintenance, repair or overhaul of its engines, it must be ensured that the contractually defined parameters are implemented.

We are looking for you as Customer Account Manager (all genders) with the following responsibilities:

  • independent supervision of work flow for customer engines / modules / parts at MTU
  • internal order placement and coordination
  • organisation of WRB and appointment coordination in collaboration with the affected specialist departments and customers
  • elaboration and presentation of cost estimates with the aim of achieving the required margin
  • ensuring compliance with customer requirements (e.g. TAT, PRS)
  • controlling of running costs for contracts being processed, if necessary introduction of measures for profit optimization
  • support for post-calculation of completed contracts, and if necessary development of measures for profit optimization

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Engineering (with strong commercial skills)
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, dynamic international environment
  • Strong multi tasking ability and work prioritisation skills
  • Fluency in English language
  • Basic knowledge in German
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver under pressure and manage conflict effectively
  • Proactive, driven mindset in the provision of excellent customer support
  • Basic technical knowledge of aircraft engines or aviation industry would be an asset
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), SAP or other ERP platforms
  • Participation in on-call service
