Job Summary:
As a Program Management Engineering Intern for MTU Maintenance Fort Worth, you will collaborate with Customer Account Managers and Support Managers to deliver a safe, reliable, and cost-effective product for our customers. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of sales, engineering, invoicing, and Aircraft Powerplant Maintenance.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the development and implementation of Customer Account Management support groups and procedures
  • Use engineering principles and fundamentals to assist with customer invoice management
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and/or suggest improved methods
  • Gathers, correlates, and analyzes specific data using established procedures
  • Performs a variety of routine tasks that will improve the individual’s familiarization with the engineering methods, practices, and programs of the company
  • Assists Engineers and Customer Account Managers with large projects, as needed

Required Skills/Abilities:  

Qualifications Required:

  • Must be currently enrolled in either a BS or MS program in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering
  • Able to work full time for the Fall 2025 Semester
  • Willing to work in a hands-on, constantly evolving environment
  • Detail orientated, managing multiple priorities while maintaining focus towards a common goal
  • Communicates effectively, verbal and written
  • Willing to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0

Desired:

  • Previous Aviation Experience
  • Knowledge of FAA FARs and CFRs
  • Knowledge of Aircraft Engines and Systems
