Legal Counsel Aviation Transactions (all genders)

Your Tasks:
- Negotiating, drafting and managing aircraft engine leasing and trading transactions, dealing with airlines, lessors and OEMs
- Drafting and executing other miscellaneous agreements (e.g. NDAs, maintenance agreements, warranty letters, financing documents)
- Advising on legal, risks and compliance matters to ensure the achievement of the targets while minimizing risks
- Analyzing and assessing any disputes and/or litigation cases in order to support management decisions, managing external counsels in any relevant jurisdiction
- Be the point of contact to internal stakeholders (business departments or affiliate companies) for any legal query
- Supporting management with comprehensive information, reporting whenever required
- Leading ad-hoc projects as required and as assigned by management
- Participating and leading dedicated projects for the management of CMS and other compliance software
Your Experience and Qualifications:
- Degree in Law and proven experience in international trade or commercial law
- Professional work experience on high-value transactions, preferably in the aviation or transport industry working with leasing companies or airlines
- Strong drafting, analytical, negotiation and problem solving skills
- Ability to work closely with lease and asset management teams being directly involved in negotiations with customers and suppliers
- Eloquent communication skills; diplomacy in customer dealings and internal stakeholders discussions
- Self-starter and independent working attitude on complex projects in a fast paced environment
- Excellent English proficiency and preferably additional language skills
- Good IT skills: in particular MS Office and contract management tools
